2416/CG/VH/LH/XX/XX/XX/XXX/XXXXX/EV0186/2/0/1800/C/XX/XX/XX/MD/XX InchThe 2416 is a versatile, high stability, temperature or process controller, with self and adaptive tuning. It has a modular hardware construction which will accept up to three plug-in I/O modules and one communication module. The 2416 is fully configurable on-site. It is also available in versions with a simple 8 segment setpoint profile or more powerful versions that will run one 16 segment program or store 4 programs of 16 segments. InchThe 2416 is a part of Eurotherm's 2400 series temperature/process controllers. It is versatile and highly stable, and comes with adaptive and self tuning. Its modular construction allows it to support one communication module and three I/O modules. The 2416 is fully configurable on-site. Either PID, ON/OFF or Motorized valve control can be configured, satisfying both electrical and gas heating applications amongst others. A setpoint programmer with up to 20 programs of 16 segments is available. The controllers accept a range of plug-in modules, heating, cooling, or process outputs, analog retransmission, second process value input and remote setpoint. Precise controlAn advanced PID control algorithm gives stable ‘Straight-line’ control of the process. A one-shot tuner is provider to set up the initial PID values and to calculate the overshoot inhibition parameters. In addition an adaptive tuner will handle processes with continually changing characteristics.
